Dental implants are a reliable and lasting solution for replacing missing teeth, offering unmatched stability, function and aesthetics. Made from biocompatible titanium, implants are surgically placed into the jawbone to serve as artificial tooth roots. Over time, they fuse with the bone in a process called osseointegration, providing a sturdy base for crowns, bridges or dentures.

There are several types of dental implants based on your individual needs:

Single-tooth implants replace one missing tooth with an implant-supported crown, restoring appearance and function without affecting surrounding teeth.

Implant-supported bridges are ideal when multiple teeth in a row are missing. Instead of anchoring to natural teeth, these bridges are supported by implants for greater stability and longevity.

Implant-supported dentures offer a secure alternative to traditional removable dentures. They snap onto multiple implants for improved comfort, chewing efficiency and confidence.

Full-mouth dental implants replace an entire arch of teeth using as few as four implants to support a fixed prosthetic, restoring full function and a natural look.

Every implant treatment is customized to match your health, goals and bone structure. With the right plan, dental implants can restore not just your smile but your confidence and quality of life.

Process

Consultation & Evaluation: Your journey starts with a thorough exam, dental X-rays and medical history review. We assess bone density and gum health and determine the best implant plan for you.

Treatment Planning: We develop a personalized treatment plan, which may include single implants, bridges or full-arch solutions. If needed, preparatory procedures like bone grafting or tooth extraction are scheduled.

Implant Placement Surgery: During a minor surgical procedure, a titanium post is placed into your jawbone under local anesthesia. You’ll go home with instructions to care for the site during healing.

Next Steps

Healing & Osseointegration (3–6 months): The implant gradually fuses with your jawbone in a process called osseointegration. This phase is essential for creating a stable foundation for your future restoration.

Abutment Placement: Once healing is complete, we attach a small connector called an abutment to the implant. This piece will hold your final crown, bridge or denture securely in place.

Final Restoration: A custom crown, bridge or full-arch prosthesis is fabricated to match your natural teeth in shape and color. Once placed, it restores your smile’s appearance and function.

Maintenance & Follow-up: Regular checkups and cleanings help ensure your implant lasts. With proper care, dental implants can last decades and feel just like your natural teeth.

FAQ

  • Am I a good candidate for dental implants?

If you have healthy gums and enough bone to support an implant, you’re likely a candidate. We’ll evaluate your oral health to be sure.

  • How do I care for dental implants?

Brush, floss and maintain regular dental visits. Implants don’t decay, but the surrounding tissue still needs care.

  • Will people be able to tell I have implants?

Not at all. Implants are custom-designed to match your natural teeth in shape and color, blending seamlessly into your smile.
